INSTRUCTIONS FOR USING ARM/DISARM AUTOMATIC TIMER IN THE AJAX SYSTEM

With the simultaneous launch of several new products from Ajax: the new Marvich OS, Motion Cam, Hub 2... Ajax has updated its system with an automatic timer feature. This article will help you quickly understand how to set up this new feature.
Step 1: Go to the Hub where you want to schedule the event.
Here I'm using a test hub called 416_Service.
Please turn off protection mode first to access the settings.

Step 2: Go to the Hub settings (gear icon in the corner).
Step 3: Select "Protection Schedule (beta)"

Step 4: Set up a new command
The "Protection Schedule" function allows you to create commands for the automatic response system in the form of "If... then...". By combining it with devices such as Wallswitches, Relays, Sockets, and Buttons, you can automate electrical devices linked to the Ajax system. This article simply aims to provide a brief introduction to the self-timer feature; you can find more detailed information on the Ajax homepage.

Click the "Create Scenario" button to access the scenario control menu.
Step 5: Create a new command
In the new menu that appears, the first line will give you a name for the command; here we've named it "Automatic Arm".
Then you select the system you want to protect in the second line, in this case the 416_service system.
Choose the action the system will take; here we select "Protection Mode," which means activating the system.
Choose your desired time and loop cycle.
Select "Save" after you have finished customizing.

Similarly, create another scenario called "Automatic Disarm" and change the "Action Selection" to "Turn off protection mode". Choose the shutdown time and loop duration as needed.
With these two scenarios, your Ajax system has been automated on a scheduled basis.
Note : Regularly change the timer settings to make it more difficult for criminals to monitor your system.
We hope this article makes it easier for you to use the Ajax system. For any further details, please contact our hotline or email support.
