The solution was developed by Ajax Systems' partner from the UK — Safer Security Group.
Each construction site is unique and has its own characteristics. However, our experience indicates that these sites share the following common features:
Scale: An open space with buildings dispersed across different areas.
External environmental influences: Landscape, nature, weather.
Multiple entrances, multiple visitors: Workers, managers, staff. As well as contractors who have access to the facility and can see how it is secured.
Construction equipment: And the vehicles parked on the premises.
Areas of protection: There are many places that security guards cannot inspect. Furthermore, this could simply be dangerous.
All of this can be found in factories, farms, mining facilities—that is, anywhere without reliable electrical wiring or internet access. However, there is a large open space and a need for protection.
And this isn't just about protection from external threats. A YouGov study found that 38% of Britons have stolen something from their employer at least once. According to London Metropolitan Police, in 2020, the value of lost work tools was £17.5 million. A large number of such thefts are committed by construction site employees and contractors.
In general, burglaries and vandalism cost the UK construction industry £800 million annually. This doesn't include unreported losses. Furthermore, remote areas lacking adequate lighting and security often become breeding grounds for crime or fraud.

3. Operates in harsh environmental conditions. Avoids false alarms caused by wildlife and pets.
4. Receive immediate notification of alerts and events received by the security system.
5. Monitoring. Management must review the entire event log to detect any sabotage or suspicious activity by employees.

If someone enters the area controlled by the Safer Pod S1, an alarm with a volume of up to 113 dB will sound, almost like the noise of a suburban concert. In addition, the security service will immediately receive a notification via the Ajax app and, within just 9 seconds, a photo from the scene.
The Safer Pod S1 provides the clearest image-based threat verification compared to other solutions available in its segment.
This is a comprehensive, ready-to-use solution that covers most typical customer needs for construction site security without requiring customization. At the same time, it can be easily scaled to meet specific customer requirements.
Advanced solution — protection at distances up to 2,000 meters
Safer Pod S1 is a versatile solution that allows you to build a complete system for perimeter, interior, and construction site security.
The control panel supports connecting up to 200 wireless devices with a protected area of up to 2,000 meters. These can be any wireless Ajax sensors that work with the corresponding hub in the Safer Pod S1.
Therefore, if construction equipment sometimes leaves overnight at your facility, you can install DoorProtect or MotionCam Outdoor on this equipment and connect them to the hub from Safer Pod S1. These sensors are installed in just minutes and ensure a reliable connection to the hub at distances up to 1,700 meters. In the morning, simply disconnect the sensors. You can then use them to protect other equipment that will be staying at the facility the following night.
Similarly, you can protect the quiet spaces of a construction site, such as temporary storage areas, garages, or worker sleeping quarters.
You can install LeaksProtect, FireProtect, and FireProtect Plus in areas where water leaks or fires may occur.
To expand the system, you don't need to install any additional control panels; all sensors will be connected to the central Safer Pod S1 station.
Based on the Safer Pod S1, you can build a complete security system for all objects on a construction site. In large facilities, multiple Safer Pod S1s and radio signal extenders can be used.

1. MotionCam Outdoor:
- It is a wireless motion sensor for outdoor environments.
- Detects motion, triggers alerts, and sends image verification.
- Capture informative photos in all weather conditions, day and night, using HDR camera and infrared lighting.
- Utilize spectral analysis and the LISA software algorithm to avoid false alarms.
- The anti-spy system and the notification of removal from the clamp will protect against vandalism.
- Operates in temperatures from -25°C to +60°C, protects against rain and snow with a special hood.
2. StreetSiren:
- It is a wireless external siren with an LED light frame.
- It has protection against tampering, notifications about attempts to jam the signal, vandalism alerts, and an accelerometer sensor that will prevent the station from being moved.
- Operates at temperatures from -25°C to +50°C and humidity up to 95%, with IP55 sealed protection.
- The volume can be adjusted from 85 to 113 dB.
3. Hub 2:
- This is a dashboard that supports image verification of alerts.
- Monitor the operation of all devices and notify users of alerts.
- Supports three independent communication channels: two SIM cards (2G/4G, depending on the model) and Ethernet if required.
- Automatically switches to a backup communication channel in seconds.
- Ensure alerts and images are sent via Jeweller and Wings radio protocols.
- The Hub cannot be turned off without noticing when the Safer Pod S1 is disabled. If anyone attempts to remove the Hub, the system will immediately trigger a tampering alert.
4. Radio Protocols Jeweler and Wings:
- The radio communication protocol was developed by Ajax Systems.
Jeweller ensures continuous interaction between the Hub and security system devices, while Wings are responsible for transmitting images from Ajax motion sensors with image verification for alerts.
- Alerts are transmitted at intervals shorter than 0.15 seconds, and the first image from the sequence is sent within 9 seconds.
5. Ajax Automation Features:
- Allows the creation of automation scenarios.
- Configure the system so that when an alert is triggered, the cluster doors are locked and the lights are turned on in the territory.
