Imagine losing crucial security footage at the very moment you need it most. Hard drives could fail or be stolen, power outages could occur—these are all real risks with serious consequences. Ajax Cloud Storage eliminates this worry, ensuring that important event recordings are always securely stored and easily accessible. Ajax Cloud Storage is a new service designed to store event-based video from Ajax IndoorCam and Doorbell surveillance devices. This service also opens up revenue opportunities for security professionals. With flexible subscription plans, easy integration, and management via the Ajax app, it's a convenient and secure solution for storing and managing surveillance video.
What is Ajax Cloud Storage?
Security footage is only truly valuable when it's easily and promptly accessible. Quick and simple retrieval of video is crucial for alarm checks, incident investigations, or providing evidence. However, relying solely on physical storage carries inherent risks—memory cards and hard drives can fail, and security cameras can be stolen.
Therefore, Ajax has developed a secure cloud storage solution for event recordings from IndoorCams and DoorBells. Ajax Cloud Storage ensures video is securely stored on remote servers, eliminating the risk of data loss. Recordings are always readily accessible via the Ajax app, providing peace of mind that video evidence is protected. For example, even if an intruder destroys an IndoorCam or DoorBell, the event recording will still be stored in the cloud.
Users and security professionals can choose a service package and configure storage parameters to suit their needs.
It's not just about storage – it's also a business opportunity.
A reliable source of recurring income.
Ajax Cloud Storage is more than just a storage service; it's a lucrative business opportunity. By offering cloud storage on a subscription basis, security professionals can deliver added value to clients while simultaneously generating a steady stream of income.
This business model involves two main parties: distributors and installation technicians.
The distributor provides Ajax services to technicians, who then provide those services to end users.
Both parties – technicians and distributors – receive monthly income from each surveillance device registered with Ajax Cloud Storage. The flexible pricing model, without a fixed list price (MSRP), allows technicians to adjust selling prices to suit different markets and customer needs. For security professionals, this means a stable, recurring income stream and better customer retention.

Easy and hassle-free setup and management.
No complex configuration, no additional hardware required — just seamless integration with the cloud platform. Ajax Cloud Storage is enabled and managed directly through Ajax PRO applications, ensuring a quick and convenient setup process.
Technicians can handle registrations remotely, pause or reactivate services as needed, and provide customer support without having to visit the customer's location. This level of flexibility reduces operating costs and improves service efficiency.
Many flexible subscription packages to choose from.
Each security system has different needs, and Ajax Cloud Storage is designed to adapt flexibly to them. Users can adjust video archiving depth within their chosen package, up to 7 or 30 days. Loop recording ensures continuous, uninterrupted operation. Depending on the subscription package, users can store up to 600 or 1,500 minutes of recordings. Storage can be activated for individual devices or in packages of 4 devices, optimizing costs for both households and businesses. This variety allows users to freely choose the service package that best suits their needs, paying only for the features they truly need and that deliver the highest value.
Technical features
Ajax Cloud Storage only stores important video footage, based on user needs. Recording is automatically triggered when the IndoorCam or DoorBell detects motion, or when a properly configured Ajax sensor activates a recording scenario. Both the user and the monitoring center receive real-time notifications with authentic alert images. Depending on the service plan, notifications may be displayed as still images or animated GIFs.
Users can choose the optimal recording duration, with the following options:
- 30 seconds
- 60 seconds
- 90 seconds
- 120 seconds
This setting, combined with the cooldown period between recordings, helps avoid over-recording, focus on important events, and optimize storage space within the allowed limits. The cooldown period between recordings can also be flexibly customized.

- Continuous recording (0 seconds): no delay between events
- Short delay: 30 seconds, 60 seconds, 120 seconds
- Longer delay options: 5 minutes, 10 minutes, 15 minutes, 30 minutes, 1 hour
Adjust video quality settings according to your subscription plan.
The quality of stored video depends on the service plan chosen by the user. Users can adjust it to achieve the optimal balance between resolution, bitrate, and frame rate to suit their actual needs. Notifications will also vary depending on the plan, with a certain number of images displayed to quickly verify security events.

Ajax Cloud Storage operates on a FIFO (First In, First Out) mechanism, ensuring continuous recording without worrying about exceeding storage capacity. The oldest videos are automatically overwritten when the storage is full, allowing users easy access to the most recent recordings.
Overwriting is done periodically: every 7 days/600 minutes or every 30 days/1,500 minutes, whichever comes first and depending on the subscription plan. Additionally, users can customize the archive depth, for example every 1 or 3 days, so that videos are automatically overwritten more frequently if needed.
