Ajax system alarm activation mechanism
The Ajax security system operates using wireless sensors and a central control unit (Hub). When an incident occurs (e.g., a door being opened, unusual movement detected), the system triggers an alarm and sends alerts to the user or the monitoring center.

Alarm activation methods
1.1 Automatic activation from the sensor

The Ajax system has various sensors that help detect threats and automatically trigger alarms:

• DoorProtect: When a door or window is opened without authorization, the sensor will send a signal to the Hub.
• MotionProtect: When motion is detected, the sensor will send an alarm signal.
• GlassProtect: When the glass breaks, the sensor will trigger an alarm.
• FireProtect: Upon detecting smoke, high temperatures, or CO gas, the system will immediately sound an alarm.
• LeakProtect: When a water leak is detected, the sensor will send an alert.

How it works:

• The sensors use Jeweller wireless technology to send signals to the Hub within 0.15 seconds.
• The hub processes the signal and activates the siren, while also sending a notification to the Ajax Security System app on the phone.

1.2 Manual activation from the control device

SpaceControl: Users can press buttons on the remote to turn the system on/off or send an emergency alarm signal.
KeyPad: Enter your PIN to activate or deactivate the alarm.
Ajax mobile app: Remotely turn the system on/off or receive instant alerts.

Example situation:
If an intruder is detected in the home, the homeowner can press the Panic button on the SpaceControl or KeyPad to activate the alarm immediately.

1.3 Scheduled activation or automatic protection mode

The system can be configured with timed protection modes (for example, automatically activating the alarm at night).
The Group Mode feature allows you to activate protection for individual areas within your home or office.

2. System response when alarm is triggered

2.1. Emitting sound and warning signals

The HomeSiren/StreetSiren alarm will sound loudly at a volume of 81 dB - 113 dB.
Outdoor StreetSiren will flash its LED lights to alert the surrounding area.

2.2. Send notifications to mobile phones

The Ajax Security System application will immediately display notifications about incidents (door open, motion detection, fire alarm, etc.).
If the system is connected to a central monitoring system (CMS), security personnel will receive alerts to respond promptly.

2.3. Activating intelligent response actions

If the system is linked to a smart relay (Relay, Wall Switch), it can turn on lights, lock doors, or cut off power when an alarm is triggered.

3. How to disable the alarm

• Enter the PIN on the KeyPad.
• Use SpaceControl to shut down the system.
• Turn off the alarm via the Ajax app on your phone.
• Press the button on the Hub (if you have direct access).

1. Ajax DoorProtect – Magnetic door sensor for intrusion prevention.

Main functions:

• Upon discovering that a door or window has been opened without authorization.
• Send an immediate alert to the central hub (Ajax Hub).
• Wireless operation with a battery life of up to 7 years.

Mechanism of action :

• DoorProtect consists of two parts: a sensor and a magnet. When the door closes, these two parts are close together. When the door opens, the distance between the two parts increases → the sensor sends an alert signal to the Hub.
• Wireless connection to the central unit using Jeweller technology (868.0-868.6 MHz band) ensures stable and interference-free signal, with an operating range of up to 1,200 meters (without obstacles).
• Supports NC (Normally Closed) switches, allowing for the connection of additional wired sensors if a wider monitoring range is needed.

2. Ajax SpaceControl – Remote control of security systems

Main functions:

• Turn the alarm system on/off remotely.
• Activate the emergency alarm mode (Panic Button).
• Encrypted to prevent signal copying.

Mechanism of action:

• SpaceControl is a compact remote control with four buttons: Alarm On, Alarm Off, Partial Mode, and Panic Button.
• When the user presses the button, a signal is sent to the Hub via an encrypted communication channel using Jeweller technology.
• Operating range up to 1,000 meters in unobstructed environments.
• If the Panic Button is pressed, the system will immediately trigger an alarm and send a notification to the user's phone or the monitoring center.
