Cloud signal monitoring
The PRO Desktop application features cloud signal monitoring, direct hub event conversion on Ajax Cloud, and ensures that CMS engineers can easily configure Ajax system events in formats supported by the company's CMS.
This feature allows for quick configuration of connection parameters between Ajax Cloud and the monitoring software. Furthermore, no additional utility programs need to be installed on the company's infrastructure.
Cloud signal monitoring is now available from PRO Desktop version 3.8 and supports SIA DC-09 (ADM-CID). It allows receiving system events, verifying images and user coordinates when the emergency button is pressed on the Ajax mobile application.
Connect via Translator
Translator is an intermediary application that connects security systems with monitoring station software. This application supports modifying event codes and transmitting data to monitoring software via SurGard (Contact ID), SIA DC-09 (ADM-CID), and ADEMCO 685 protocols. With its proprietary protocol integration, Translator also sends alarm image verification and user coordinates when the emergency button is pressed on the Ajax mobile application.
Hubs (control panels) can communicate with the Translator directly or via an Ajax Cloud server. With a 10-second check interval, the server detects a loss of communication with the security system within just one minute. Regardless of the connection method, transmitted data is encrypted.
Direct connection
Direct connection can be used as a backup or primary channel to transmit events from the security system hub (control panel) to the monitoring station software. The SIA DC-09 communication protocol is supported. Data can be encrypted. Only event codes are transmitted to the CMS: image verification and transmission of emergency node coordinates within the application are not supported.
