Ajax GlassProtect: Ajax Wireless Glass Break Sensor

GlassProtect Jeweller It's a wireless glass break sensor with a DualTone digital algorithm that eliminates a common problem with similar devices — false alarms caused by dog ​​barking, traffic, water noise, or other background noise.
The sensor only responds to the characteristic vibrations of the sound of breaking glass. You can customize 3 sensitivity levels and run a test to check its effectiveness.

Accurate glass break detection
GlassProtect Jeweller uses high-sensitivity electret microphones combined with a DualTone digital algorithm to detect the sound of breaking glass.
To trigger the alarm, the device needs to detect two consecutive phases within 1.5 seconds:

• Low-pitched sound (low frequency) when there is an impact.
• High-pitched sound (high frequency) from the sound of breaking glass.

This significantly reduces false alarms. Additionally, users can adjust three sensitivity levels within the Ajax app to suit different environments.

Easy integration with third-party sensors.
GlassProtect Jeweller has an input port for wired NC (Normally Closed) sensors. You can connect existing door opening sensors, motion sensors, or vibration sensors to enhance protection. When connected, these sensors can operate independently or simultaneously with the glass break sensor.

Wireless – Flexible and high-performance
GlassProtect Jeweller uses pre-installed CR123A batteries from a reputable manufacturer, which are tested in real time during production. Ajax also inspects each device to ensure quality. The batteries can last up to 5 years, are easy to replace, and their status is always displayed on the Ajax app.

Flexible scalability
The ReX 2 Jeweller extends the operating range of all Ajax devices, ensuring stable communication even through concrete and steel walls, thanks to its Ethernet connection. An Ajax system can connect up to 5 extenders, enough to cover a parking garage, basement, or metal warehouse.

Intelligent system monitoring
All Ajax devices perform self-diagnosis and send periodic status reports to the central hub.
Ajax Cloud controls the entire communication process between the central hub and the application, ensuring immediate alerts to users and security personnel. If an error is detected, technicians will be notified to resolve it.
